A breadwinner to Afghanistan
The breadwinner is simply a beautiful humane story from the perspective of a little girl. Since the setting is in Afghanistan, it can be expected that it’ll talk about Islamic extremism and the oppression the woman get over there, however with all that there is a bit of bright side. Within the movie there is also a small side story of hope that interconnects with the main one in a smooth way. And without spoiling about the story, the whole subject may be sensitive to children and emotional to adults. The voice acting was great especially with the focus of dialect detail to add a feeling of being local. And the animation is superb both artistically and technically.
To conclude, it is a humane tale of everyday life that is presented in a stunning visual style and told with great voice acting.
