Truly evil and sinister
The franchise continues where evil lurks in the nightmares of the fictional corporation mobius. However, unlike it’s predecessor there is an improvement in character development, his motives, and storytelling. The gameplay is still satisfying specially when you overcome hordes of enemies, and the stealth still the same. The sound effect excels in making the place more creepy and intense which makes the monsters and the world more believable. The character design for monsters and villains varies from bland to creative, as for the humans its average.
Although mostly positive, the more downside in this installment is that not enough diversity of the enemies and environment. The places you visit generally revolves in the same area or it can be referred to as crossroads, therefore sometimes it is felt as if you are restricted in that area. The upgrading in general lacks the spark of new ideas, and technically its repeating the same thing.
To conclude the game is extremely fun with a better storytelling and purpose, which the minor negativity can be ignored.
